Cyclades islands
The winds: The prevailing local winds (meltemi) usually blow from north-north east and, during the day, as long as the sun goes up, it becomes stronger, falling down again in the evening. It may occasionally become very strong, even a gale, especially from mid of July to end of August.

The winds: A sea breeze usually blows from the north but it becomes stronger during July & August.

The winds: During the morning a light north breeze blows. At noon it turns to a southerly sea breeze. Very often the wind blows from the north-east and becomes stronger, especially during July and August.
